THE ROLE
As an HR Generalist, you will support and assist the HR Business Partner in managing day-to-day HR operations. This role focuses on execution, coordination, and people support, providing strong exposure to core HR processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Operations Support
Assist the HRBP with People onboarding and offboarding activities.
Maintain and update People records in HRIS and other systems.
Support leave management and attendance tracking.
Coordinate with payroll teams for monthly HR inputs and data validation.
People Support & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries.
Support new hire welcome sessions and orientation programs.
Assist in organizing People engagement activities, celebrations, and internal events.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare standard HR documents such as offer letters, confirmations, and employment letters.
Maintain People files and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
Coordinate background verification for new joiners and verification requests for ex-people.
Maintain high accuracy and integrity of employee data by ensuring all HR systems, software tools, and Google Sheets used by the company are consistently updated, reviewed, and kept up to date.
Performance & Learning Support
Assist in coordinating the performance appraisal cycle and follow-ups.
Support training programs by coordinating sessions, attendance, and feedback.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a similar role.
Basic understanding of HR processes and employment practices.
Familiarity with Google Workspace; exposure to HRIS is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Pro-active learning attitude and grow in an HR operations role.
Hybrid work model with a requirement to work from the office 2 days per week.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in “Human Resources”, “Business Administration”, or a related field.
HR certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
